On March 21, 2023, Guangzhou Customs and Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce jointly held a special session on AEO policies under the "Policy Express" series of publicity lectures.

On September 29, 2021, our company, Guangzhou Imton Customs Declaration Co., Ltd., successfully obtained the Certificate of Advanced Certified Enterprise (AEO) issued by the customs.

The theme of the lecture was AEO System and Foreign Trade Policies, aiming to help more enterprises understand the customs AEO system, integrate the concept of customs credit management into their business management models, further enhance their compliance management capabilities, and boost the high-quality development of enterprises.

Managers from about 100 key foreign trade enterprises in Guangzhou attended the meeting on site, and more than 1,000 personnel from foreign trade enterprises watched the live broadcast online.

After obtaining AEO certification, enterprises can not only receive one-on-one guidance on import and export business from customs enterprise coordinators, but also enjoy customs clearance facilitation in 51 mutually recognized countries (regions) across 25 economies worldwide, which improves the efficiency of goods clearance and reduces enterprise operating costs.

Becoming a customs AEO enterprise has further enhanced the company's international brand image and boosted its confidence in expanding overseas markets.

"Authorized Economic Operator" (AEO for short) refers to enterprises certified by the customs of China. China Customs carries out AEO mutual recognition with customs of other countries or regions in accordance with the law and provides corresponding customs clearance facilitation measures for mutually recognized AEO enterprises.

According to the Measures for the Administration of Customs Enterprise Credit of the People's Republic of China, customs classifies enterprises into certified enterprises, general credit enterprises and dishonest enterprises based on their credit status. Certified enterprises are divided into advanced certified enterprises and general certified enterprises.

AEO enterprises in China are categorized into Advanced Certified Enterprises (ACE) and General Certified Enterprises (GCE). In a sense, AEO enterprises are the VIPs of the customs, entitled to benefits in three dimensions: "customs convenience, domestic preferential policies and international recognition".
